supplements you actually really need
The wellness industry is SO oversaturated - trendy superfoods, new supplements, restrictive diets, quick fixes - all promising to be the missing piece. I’ve tried enough of them to know that more isn’t better, and hype doesn’t equal healing.
That said, there are a few things that really do make a difference for me, and I’ve found generally most everyone can benefit from taking. Not because they are trendy, because they truly add foundational support to our bodies.
Before getting into specifics, I think this part matters most: supplements don’t work in isolation.
What you eat, how you sleep, your stress levels, your environment, your toxin load - all of it affects how your body responds. Blood work can be a helpful baseline, but it doesn’t always tell the full story, especially if you’re dealing with chronic inflammation or sensitivity.
These are simply the supplements I’ve seen support overall resilience, and in some cases, help calm systems that were already overwhelmed.
Nothing here is about fixing - it’s about supporting.
Everyday Support:
Vitamin ADK - Almost everyone can use more vitamin D, especially if you’re dealing with anything that feels autoimmune. These fat-soluble vitamins work together to support immune health, hormone signaling, bone health, and overall regulation.
Probiotics - Your gut health plays a role in nearly everything - digestion, immunity, mood, inflammation. Feed your gut with healthy, happy ingredients to help boost bio-diversity.
Colostrum - Supports gut lining integrity and immune balance, which can be especially helpful if your system feels reactive or depleted.
Collagen - Supports skin, joints, connective tissue, and gut lining.
L-Glutathione - The body’s “master antioxidant,” it helps the body neutralize and clear out what doesn’t belong. It supports detoxing pathways and liver function, immune balance, inflammation regulation, cellular repair, overall resilience during healing
Magnesium - Supports muscle relaxation, sleep quality, stress response, and digestion. For me, it helped soften tension - physically and mentally - especially in the evenings.
Fiber - Helps bind and eliminate excess hormones, support gut bacteria, reduce inflammation, keep digestion moving gently.
Celtic Sea Salt - Provides trace minerals that support hydration, adrenal function, and nerve signaling. Adding a small amount to water or meals helped you feel more balanced, especially when dealing with fatigue or dizziness.
Electrolytes / Trace Mineral Support - Beyond salt alone, balanced electrolytes can support hydration, nerve signaling, and energy levels. This is especially helpful for me during times of fatigue, dizziness, or when my body felt easily depleted.
If you’re dealing with High Histamine / Chronic Inflammation:
Turmeric - Supports the body’s natural inflammatory response.
Digestive Enzymes - Help the body break down food more efficiently, which can reduce digestive stress and histamine buildup.
DAO Supplements - DAO (diamine oxidase) helps break down histamine in food. Taking it before meals that might be higher in histamine helps reduce reactions and makes eating feel safer during flare-ups.
Histaeze - A natural blend designed to support histamine balance.
None of these supplements are magic. They didn’t heal me overnight, and they didn’t replace rest, whole organic nourishment, or lifestyle shifts. What they did do was reduce strain on systems that were already working overtime.
And sometimes that reduction is enough to create space for healing to begin.
If you’re exploring supplements, my biggest advice is to go slowly, listen closely, and remember that your body’s feedback matters more than any trend.
I’m here as support <3 thanks for reading!!
